Acting Locally – Impacting Globally

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

At the heart of OCF, we care about making a positive impact on the world. Whether it’s through our services or our social contributions, it is a commitment that we have made.

At OCF, we believe that to have an impact on a global scale, we can start by having an impact on our local communities. This is why we continue to act locally, supporting various local organizations. It is our hope that by doing so, our impact will be sustained and amplified in the long-run.

Key Focus Areas

Community Involvement

We aim to impact local communities by encouraging active involvement and relationship building.

Economic Empowerment

Investing and empowering the people matters to us. It is a way to ensure sustainability in the long-run.

Health & Well Being

Whether it is inside or outside the workplace, we are happy to promote healthy living because it is our real wealth in this world.

Partnership with Habitat for Humanity Canada

Overseas Container Forwarding Inc. (OCF) is pleased to announce that we have teamed with Habitat for Humanity Canada in a two year charitable partnership, working to tackle the global affordable housing crisis in countries less privileged than our own. As OCF operates on an international basis, we decided it was time to take action and help support families and communities in less fortunate parts of the world.

Our Commitments:

  • We will donate $5 to Habitat’s Global Neighbours Program for each and every less-than-container load (LCL) consignment that we handle between January 1st, 2017 and December 31st, 2018 with a commitment to a minimum donation of $100,000.
  • Sponsor a Habitat Global Village Trip to one of the communities that the Global Neighbors Program support. More details to follow soon, keep in touch via LinkedIn or Twitter for updates!

“Together, we hope that the small steps we are taking will turn into something greater and make a very real difference.”

Read letter from our President

“This past year, Overseas Container Forwarding helped Habitat for Humanity Canada provide a foundation for families to build stronger, more independent lives. Inadequate housing is a global problem that requires a global solution, which is why we support homebuilding and infrastrucutre projects in developing countries around the world. But none of our work would be possible without the support of generous partners like Overseas Container Forwarding.”
